2000 - The Republic of Kesorva

"Kesorva is an eastern European nation along the Black Sea that serves as a regional hub of economics and culture. Its temperate, sparsely settled mountain-dotted inland fields are home to many stone castle and stronghold ruins from as far back as the early dark ages. It is internally divided into 15 administrative districts, 2 city-states, and 1 nature preserve, and is governed overall by a provisional democratic government, with a leadership consisting of a Parliament of 51 representatives elected through a system of proportional representation and a Prime Minister elected through popular vote.

Kesorva was previously a republic of the Soviet Union - the Kesorvan Soviet Socialist Republic - before the union collapsed in 1991. Following this, Kesorva destabilized as the established regime, the liberal young Kesorva movement, and closeted Kesorvan far-right nationalist movements violently clashed. Simultaneously during this period of instability, a U.S.-led UN coalition entered Kesorva to secure approximately 260 missing Soviet thermonuclear weapons from 12 different sites across the country.

In the end of the conflict, it was the far more popular young Kesorva movement that triumphed over opposing nationalist groups and the old communist government. However, during the civil war, neighboring states used the opportunity to seize a number of valuable territories along the Kesorva border."
